how does breaking traditional usability conventions affect brand identity?

the existence of posts such as the conquistador post doesn't mean wikipedia sux that means that the people who do that suck

and theres no reason why you shouldn't be able to post stuff on there; after all you have knowledge too, which is doing more good by being shared than by staying in your head. go you!

and then the best part of wikipedia:
there exists,
above both the people who suck and the people who have just limited knowledge or time or motivation to contribute to wikipedia,
some awesome people who have or make time to EDIT/delete the stupid posts like the one you mentioned, to polish up the so-so articles that you might have written and have them become the very well-structured and informative articles that i'm sure you HAVE come across on wikipedia

and they're all volunteers

i always end up discovering the contradiction i live in
sometimes i'm so passionate about certain ideas

i know these ideas are naive

i can't help thinking them

so what happens is that I can't ever be confident that what I post on my blog will affect how people percieve and/or judge me.
this impedes me from being completely honest in my entries.

lets develop a system where honesty is encouraged.
openness is encouraged.

users are encouraged to post whatever they want.
ANYONE can read it.
BUT if you don't offer some type of reaction to what you just read :
YOU're kicked off. YOUR IP is banned. YOU CAN'T COME BACK!!!

the idea here is to encourage openness and acceptance, to create a space where ideas flow, where people can post their minds without limitations. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.

the response doesn't have to be deep. but there has to be one. if someone decides to just close the browser window without offering some type of response, then that IP is automaticlaly banned. maybe it was a mistake!! maybe ths person's computer simply crashed. in that case, yo will be informed that you have been temporarily banned, but you can make up for it by offering a response to the last entyr you viewed. NOW...

for the questions. these questions, they have to somehow find out if this person is judgemental, or if this person is using the user's ideas to become more toleran.t more later.
